Love your pictures. I have been doing an end of month view since April (as per patientgardener, great idea). I might just put all mine together like this. It is wonderful to see. I love all your annuals. They really make me smile.

I’m envious, you’re doing a lovely job. What further plans do you have?

Elizabeth – yes do it! – I adore before and afters. I keep wanting to put words in, explaining why this that or the other is looking good/bad/ugly etc…but I restrain myself…pictures say more I feel.
    Cormac – what further plans DON’T I have!…That’s a good idea for a post I think!
Ursula – I have LOADS of help and encouragement from a plethora of people…could never do any of it otherwise! x

What are those gorgeous red flowers in the right hand bed in the first picture for August? They’re such a delicious colour! Thanks!

Celia – they’re antirrhinums (snapdragon)…bought for a song in polystyrene bedding c cells at the start of summer…they’ve given me SUCH joy…gorgeous, long-lasting blooms in a vase with this delicious cheap-sweet scent, like the kind of thing you smell when you go into a very naughty sweet shop. I’ll dig out the actual variety for you and let you know asap x

What a beautiful space you’ve created there! It’s fascinating to see how something can be tranformed like this. I love the idea of taking pictures month-by-month and you’ve inspired me to try it too. My garden’s a bit of a weird shape but I’ll manage somehow! :-)
